Getting to Dabong
By Train (Recommended)
Take the scenic Jungle Railway from Gua Musang (2 hours) or Kuala Krai (1 hour). The train journey itself is an adventure, passing through tunnels, over bridges, and alongside pristine jungle. Trains run twice daily.
By Car
From Kuala Lumpur: 5-6 hours via Karak Highway → Kuala Krai → Dabong (350km)
From Kota Bharu: 2.5 hours via Kuala Krai (120km)
Road conditions are good, but be prepared for winding mountain roads.
By Bus
Buses run from Kuala Lumpur TBS terminal to Gua Musang (4-5 hours), then transfer to local bus to Dabong (1.5 hours). Limited schedules - check with tour operators for pickup services.
